Starting March 12th - Protein Power Bites: A Global Flavor Adventure!
Service Description
Dear Parents, We are thrilled to invite your child to join a fun and engaging after-school cooking class where they’ll explore healthy, no-sugar-added treats while learning about different cultures and farmers markets! This hands-on class will allow students to make and enjoy delicious, nutritious snacks while discovering new flavors inspired by global traditions. Each child may enroll in one class; Hoover Enrolled siblings are welcome to take the class together! Class Details: Location: On Campus Start Date: March 12th (Session ending on April 17th) Class Size: Limited to 10 students per class, (1 child per session, so please do not book your child for multiple classes) Cost: Free! Pickup: Parents must arrange transportation home after class (no bus service available). Pick up will be in the Front of the School. Available Dates & Times, (Pick One Per Child(ren): Monday(s), Tuesday(s), Thursday(s): 2:35 – 3:50 PM or Wednesday(s): 1:00 – 2:15 PM What’s on the Menu? Students will make three delicious, no-sugar-added snacks using premium, wholesome ingredients: Golden Mango Ladoo Bites – A naturally sweet, tropical treat with dried mango and cardamom. Sesame Honey Bliss Bites – A nutty, lightly spiced bite featuring tahini, sesame, and cinnamon. Cocoa Hazelnut Truffle Bites – A chocolatey, protein-packed snack with hazelnuts and cocoa. List of all ingredients to be used: Dried Mango, Almond Flour, Coconut Flour, Cashew Butter, Coconut Oil, Cardamom, Vanilla Extract, Tahini, Toasted Sesame Seeds, Honey, Cinnamon, Roasted Hazelnuts, Cocoa Powder, Medjool Dates, and Sea Salt. In addition to making these gluten-free, nutrient-rich snacks, we will a book to introduce students to farmers markets and global food traditions. Cancellation Policy
Zi Spice Cooking Class Policy Thank you for signing up for a free cooking class with Zi Spice! To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, please review the following guidelines: Attendance & Participation Since the class takes place on campus immediately after school, students will arrive on time. Parents/guardians must arrange prompt pickup after class, as there is no bus service available. Health & Wellness If your child is sick, they will not be allowed to attend class for the safety of all participants. If possible, we will reschedule their session for a later date. Cancellations & No-Shows If your child is unable to attend, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so we can offer the spot to another student. Frequent no-shows may affect future participation in Zi Spice classes. Class Changes & Cancellations If we need to reschedule or cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible. Zi Spice reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment or emergencies. Class Guidelines Cooking involves active participation and handling food—students should be prepared to engage and have fun! Food Allergies & Dietary Restrictions: While we use high-quality ingredients, we cannot guarantee that the class is allergen-free. If your child has dietary restrictions, please inform us in advance.
